Sachin Tendulkar, a cricket legend, holds the record for the most runs scored in a single edition of the World Cup. In the 2003 World Cup, he amassed an astonishing 673 runs in 11 games. Sachin had previously achieved the 500+ runs milestone in the 1996 World Cup with a total of 523 runs.
