Even after their victory in the last ODI, they lost the three-match ODI series 2-1 to South Africa.
In the match between South Africa Women and Pakistan Women, South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first, setting a target for their opponents. Their innings got off to a tricky start as Laura Wolvaardt was dismissed without scoring any runs. Nevertheless, Tazmin Brits (32 runs) and Nadine de Klerk (60 runs) put up a strong fight, contributing significantly to South Africa’s total. This victory allowed Pakistan Women to salvage some pride with a consolation eight-wicket win over South Africa Women in the three-match series. Sidra Ameen’s remarkable performance with the bat earned her the well-deserved title of Player of the Match. With this win, Pakistan Women managed to narrow the series defeat margin, ultimately losing the series 2-1.
