Pakistan team has unveiled its brand-new “Matrix” jersey for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
With just under a month until the highly-anticipated World Cup kicks off, Pakistan has unveiled the jerseys they’ll be sporting throughout the tournament. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently shared a video featuring captain Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and others donning the new attire.
Dubbed the “Matrix jersey,” the fresh design embodies a sense of national pride and fervor. The PCB captioned their release video with a rallying cry: “Embrace the national colors, raise the banner, and let’s make some noise!”
The PCB officially launched the Matrix jersey for the Pakistan cricket team in preparation for the T20 World Cup 2024 on Monday, May 6th. This kit will be proudly worn by Babar Azam and the team as they embark on their journey in Group A, alongside the likes of USA, Canada, Ireland, and perennial rivals India.
If talking about the jersey then it has that classic green vibe but with a twist. You’ll notice these cool triangular prisms across the front, adding a bit of flair with a different shade of green. And let’s talk about the Pakistan crest, shining in gold on the left – it’s a real eye-catcher. Plus, the sleeves sport some sponsorship love with Pepsi on the left and TCL on the right.
Before their World Cup campaign, Pakistan is slated to face Ireland and England in T20I fixtures, building anticipation and momentum for the marquee event.
Pakistan is banking on the fresh jersey to turn their luck around and carry them to victory in the upcoming T20 World Cup. It’s been quite a rough patch for Pakistan cricket lately. It all kicked off with their disappointing run in the Asia Cup, then followed by an early exit in the ODI World Cup, and to top it off, Babar Azam got stripped of his captaincy across all formats.
Despite their recent lackluster performances, Pakistan is expected to be a formidable force in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. They made it to the final in the last tournament but fell short against England. This time around, they’re determined to clinch the title. However, Pakistan hasn’t revealed their squad for the World Cup yet.
