However, according to certain sources, it looks like Jasprit Bumrah and his partner are expecting a baby shortly, with the due date being next week. Consequently, he will miss India’s final league game against Nepal, which is slated at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy on September 4th.
Bumrah had recently made an incredible return in the ODI format during the match against Pakistan last Saturday. This comeback marked the end of his nearly year-long layoff owing to a back injury incurred last year. Notably, Bumrah had taken leadership of the Indian squad in a 3-match T20I series against Ireland before this.
