Ireland have announced a strong 15 members Squad for the T20I series against India, Paul Stirling has been selected for the leadership role.
The Ireland Cricket Board (ICB) has just announced a powerful 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against India. The matches are scheduled to take place in Malahide, Ireland, from August 18 to 23, 2023.
Ireland have handed over the leadership to their most experienced player, Paul Stirling. Stirling’s expertise as a batsman makes him a key player for Ireland’s T20I team. Supporting him are Andrew Balbirnie, Gareth Delany, and Harry Tector, who are all known for their ability to put up substantial scores.
When it comes to the bowling attack, Ireland can count on the prowess of Mark Adair, a truly world-class fast bowler. Alongside him, Josh Little, Barry McCarthy, and Craig Young bring their considerable experience to bolster the team’s bowling arsenal. In addition to these seasoned players, the squad boasts the inclusion of some exciting young talents.
